New Changes In Light Of COVID-19

  Touch in the time of Covid-19 has proven challenging to navigate & it is important to me that I'm as thorough as possible in explaining my new procedures for future appointments to ensure you feel as safe & supported as possible. With these new protocols in place, I feel confident in returning to a practice that is so vital to the health & wellness of our community. 


My Commitment To Keeping You Safe Involves:

  • Disinfecting every high-touch surface in & near my treatment room before & after every appointment
  • Wearing a mask at all times
  • Reducing the number of clients I see per day
  • Increasing the amount of cleaning time I have between appointments
  • Investing in products that will bolster my efforts to keep you safe & healthy including an air purifier & vinyl coverings for my table & pillows that can easily be wiped down after each appointment.



To Prepare For Your Appointment: 

  • Pre-paying for your appointment is highly encouraged. This can easily be done online when booking your appointments. If you are already booked, I can run your card over the phone prior to our session or you can pay after the session like normal. Pre-payment is simply encouraged to reduce our exposure to one another & other people who may be in the building. 
  • If possible, showering before-hand & changing into clean clothing is recommended.
  • Check your temperature before leaving home.
  • Wear a cloth mask when arriving. If you do not have a mask I will provide you with a disposable surgical mask.
  • Leave unnecessary items at home.
  • Bring your own water bottle to stay hydrated. Water will no longer be given post-session


INTAKE PROCESS & APPOINTMENT FLOW 

  1. Upon arrival, text or call me to inform me you have arrived. Stay in your car or feel free to get some fresh air outside while you wait. Have your mask ready for when I greet you. Do not enter the building yet.
  2.  I will meet you outside of the front door where I will do a temperate check using a touchless thermometer. If your temperature reads 99.5 or above, you will be asked to go home & reschedule your session once you are well. 
  3. Because I work out of the community space of Centered, you will need to sign a quick electronic liability waiver on their behalf. This will be done on a disinfected Ipad.
  4. From there, I will guide you to the restroom where you will wash your hands.
  5. After, I will meet you at my treatment room where I will ask that you remove your shoes before entering. Because my room is carpeted, it is best we leave your shoes in the hallway.
  6. We will have our usual intake conversation at this time. This is the discussion we have going over your health history & goals for your session.
  7. Once it is time to undress & I leave the room to wash my hands, you are free to place your clothing on the disinfected chair & get comfortable on the massage table in the position we determine is best to begin your session.
  8. For the duration of our session you will be required to wear your mask over your nose & mouth unless lying in prone position (face down). This is absolutely necessary to keep us both protected.
  9. To conclude your session, I will ask that you redress while I wash my hands. Our debriefing conversation will occur in my treatment room to reduce contact with anyone who may be in the main area of Centered. I will then guide you to the restroom to wash your hands & walk you to the front door when you are ready to leave, all the while fighting the urge to give you a big hug! 


Cancellation Policy: 

  • There will be no penalty for any cancellations at this time. If you are showing any symptoms of illness leading up to your appointment, I highly encourage you to cancel & reschedule for a time when you feel better.
